Give The Job To MacLean

It's time for Lou Lamoriello to end his coaching search. When Lamoriello, still general manager and interim coach of the Devils, takes the bench for tonight's game against the Vancouver Canucks at Continental Arena, all he has to do is look to the man standing directly to his left, John MacLean. MacLean, a former Devils player and an assistant coach for three seasons, has been doing most of the job since Larry Robinson stepped down Dec. 19, anyway. He runs the team's meetings and practices and changes the forward lines during games.
