No doubt Marchand is at the top of the list of players i can’t stand. That being said, Haggerty is published some pure garbage in the past and i’m not opposed to someone (even if it’s a player) calling them out for it.  And for those that didn’t see, Haggerty took a shot at Marchand yesterday on twitter. Don’t talk shit unless you’re prepared to get it back.

You miss the part where he called Hagg’s hot take “garbage”

He said the team was better without one of their players. Another player took issue with it and called it out. He could have left it at that, instead he projected that the reason his take was garbage was because he was at the snack bar and not paying attention. Take issue with the delivery all you want but personally I don’t mind players standing up for their teammates when a writer says something derogatory about them.

I wish everyone just took care of their own business, was respectable, and acted their age. 

Unfortunately, there’s always a couple people who escalate situations, and it’s kind of like poop in the pool for everyone else.

The popcorn-eating masses on Twitter got their latest look into what goes on inside the Bruins dressing room between longtime Bruins reporters and agitator/chirper/bon vivant Brad Marchand when he took to Twitter on Thursday to “roast” yours truly.

Truth be told, it’s always been a good-natured joking/trash-talking kind of relationship between me and Marchand over his eight years with the Black and Gold, and the winky face emojis between us kind of prove it. That nuance, however, is completely lost on the car crash-hungry Twitter masses thirsting for the latest tweet beef between anybody on social media these days.
