Flyers Beat The Devils 4-3 In OT To Win Game 1

A pretty exciting game to watch on a Sunday afternoon.

The Flyers had a rough first period after a lengthy break, but picked it up after that.

The Devils need to be much more responsible in their defensive zone in order to compete with Philadelphia.

Here is the OT goal by Danny Briere…

added 6:33pm, Watch below the Briere disallowed goal in OT, I thought the correct call was made…

It was good hockey for sure, but I was screaming at my tv screen in OT because the Devs looked like they weren’t quite sure they wanted to win. They gave the Flyers a pretty good run for their money, though, and the Flyers out-performed them all season. It sure would be nice if Kovalchuk showed up for the next game, and if he’s been playing with an injury, maybe they should think about just having him sit out a game or two. Somebody, ANYBODY, be decisive about what’s happening on the ice!!

Thank you for letting me vent, Paul!
