Calgary, AB – The Calgary Flames announced today that they have signed forward Jiri Hudler.
“Jiri Hudler is a highly skilled and dynamic offensive player,” said Flames General Manager Jay Feaster. “He is one of the very best goal scorers in the NHL at even strength and he puts a very high percentage of his shots on net, generating scoring chances for himself and rebound opportunities for his teammates. He fits our need to upgrade and improve our skill and we are very pleased to have him on board.”

will be nice when Calgary realized hudler cant skate and his game was dependent on Zetterberg-datsyuk doing all the work… the over under is 30 game for the calgary media to turn on him

45 games if he scores more than three in the first five games.

Huds is a nice kid. He works hard, but gives up too easy. Sometimes he is not good at scrambling, digging and fighting for the puck in corners; he’s too small.
None the less, I do like him….. @ $1 or 2 Million. Not an insane 3, 4 or 5 Million.

Buh bye midget. The only hit he ever threw in the playoffs was one to Cleary’s head last summer. Samuelsson is slight upgrade. I’ll take it.

I think he’ll do great in Calgary actually. They have some bigger bodies and a more intense leadership approach, I think will be good for him to keep him engaged. What’re they paying him and for how long?
