Flames Trade Eddie Lack To The Devils For Dalton Prout

Calgary, AB – The Calgary Flames announced today that they have acquired defenceman Dalton Prout from the New Jersey Devils in exchange for goaltender Eddie Lack.
Prout, a native of Kingsville, ON, has played 242 career NHL games with both the Columbus Blue Jackets and the New Jersey Devils. He has appeared in four games with the Devils this season, accumulating 13 penalty minutes. He was originally drafted by Columbus in the 6th round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Prout will report directly the Calgary’s American Hockey League team, the Stockton Heat.
