Fix The Schedule

from the National Post,
In a season that has gone better than expected following the lockout, there's a growing call across the league that National Hockey League officials need to rethink a schedule that severely limits crossover games between the Eastern and Western Conferences. "I've been beating a dead horse on this," Wings defenceman Chris Chelios said. "We're not playing enough of the Original Six. True hockey fans would love to see more of those games." "It's the biggest complaint I've heard around the league," Wings pro scout Dave Lewis said. "I think the league got everything else right, but the scheduling needs to be fixed. "You can't force feed rivalries. They're not created in the regular season; they come out of meeting in the playoffs."
