Feels like they were rushing through the cup celebrations, only holding it for 5 or 10 seconds. I’m sure it’s not as fun when it’s away from home.

Amazing job by the blues though. They really shut down Boston.

Mike Milbury, when assessing STL, said among other things: “...they were opportunistic…”

Best moment of the whole playoffs was seeing Marchand kneeling along the boards with tears in his eyes. Man, that was priceless.

Binnington was simply incredible. Wave after wave of Bruin opportunities during the first period and the Blues come out of it on top 2-0. Every time you thought the Bruins had a chance to get back in it, he’d make another key save. Talk about ice in your veins. This rookie did it on the biggest stage, game 7, on the road. What an incredible year for him.

O’Reilly really was the player that put the Blues into position to win the Cup. He brought a level of grit and determination that was lacking from previous Blues squads.

St. Louis will always be a team I dislike. I hated them when I was a North Stars fan. I hated them when I became a Red Wings fan. But this is a championship the team and the fans had a long time coming and I can appreciate that. Plus, F*$K Boston!
