Everyone Relax

For everyone waiting for the other shoe to drop at the 2006 National Hockey League trading deadline, relax, it will. It just may take right up until Thursday morning before the action starts to heat up. Apart from the early deadline (14 days sooner than in 2004) and the implications of the salary cap (real, even if others may dispute the notion), one of the difficulties in making those complex, trading-deadline deals is that no one, among the NHL's 30 general managers, is entirely certain of the marketplace anymore.
