“What they’ve done is just tremendous,” he said. “It has been a long time coming, where you felt that buzz. I can’t say I wish I was part of it right now because I’m a Red Wing, but it’s great to see the fans getting excited again about Blackhawk hockey.”
“I found a new home in Detroit, but Chicago is always going to be home,” he said. “I intend on coming back and spending the rest of my days here, whether as a player or somehow being involved with the Blackhawks.”
