Every time I hear the name Mike Ribeiro, I always am reminded of this, and call him a puss:

Then, I recall the following video. Punk ass.

Very exciting play. Not often does watching clips in the morning give me goosebumps (crowd reactions required)

What a d-bag. Wonder if Joe N. is now going to push a little harder to see if there are any takers for Ribeiro and his one year left at $5 million. Actually might be a good “value for value” trade if another team out there has an underachieving player with a similar salary/contract status, as Dallas has to be careful with the salary floor (though they might be okay to just dump Ribeiro entirely given that they pro-rate and all that).

Also, Ribeiro’s nickname just has to be Alfonso, right?

I was watching that and when he did his little show-off stick play I was thinking “please don’t score, not after that crap”. Of course, Gio screens Kipper and it goes in. Way to go, Flames, keep on letting me down in different ways week in, week out :(.

Yeah, that was a pretty good cheap shot by Ozzie, there.  He also did a good amount of writhing on the ground afterwards.

I’m one of the few who’s always liked Ribeiro. Very creative, skilled player who makes those around him better.

A lil greasy sometimes, but he brings it most nights, and most of the theatrics that got him run out of MTL are gone from his game.

I’ve read that the Stars are looking at moving him. At that salary cap hit, and what he brings, I imagine there will be some suitors.
