May as well have a rule limiting shifts to no more than 10 seconds so players don’t start breathing too heavy.

Don’t give them any ideas hahaha

How about players who don’t want to play- don’t play.

Even if there is covid passed between players on their equipment just make sure its washed between games and develop a policy on how its handled until its washed.

I am thinking of jerseys mainly but the rest of the equipment can be sanitized with light or sprays.

As I said in the last thread on this topic, the restrictions are meant to 100% pass the buck to the league/sport so that they’re the ones taking the heat and not the government.

They 100% know that no-checking is a total deal-breaker, and they’re using it as an excuse to make the OHL be the one to then cancel and not a provincial decision.  It’s scuzzy politics… and it’s kinda’ cowardly,  Because it means they don’t actually fully believe in what they’re doing or else they’d be willing to take the heat and not care about the backlash.

There’s certainly some risk on the ice regardless of body contact. But the real problem is the bench. Everyone jammed in together and breathing hard for extended periods of time. Locker rooms aren’t going to be a good situation either, depending on the venue. And since they OHL players are all housed with local billet families that have their own day-to-day interactions, there’s a lot of potential for this thing to get picked up and run through teams and beyond.
