Esche Out Again

Flyers goaltender Robert Esche will be home for Christmas, nursing a nagging groin strain that flared up again in Thursday night's 5-4 loss to the Vancouver Canucks. Esche was re-evaluated Friday and told to rest his ailing right groin for at least two weeks, fueling speculation the 27-year-old netminder returned to the lineup too soon after sitting out three games with the same injury earlier this month.
