Apparently having a Norris Trophy on your mantle doesn't get you any further with Canadian internet providers.
Via the Huffington Post:
Ottawa Senators star defenceman Erik Karlsson might make $6.5 million a year and is probably one of the most gifted players in the NHL, but that doesn't mean that he can get good service from his internet service provider.
Karlsson angrily tweeted about the service he was getting from Bell on Tuesday afternoon.
I hate BELL.! Paying way to much for way to little. I thought it was 2013 not 1999.!! Omg figure something out please.— Erik Karlsson (@ErikKarlsson65) October 1, 2013
What's worse, it seems that the Bell customer service rep helping the player hung up on him. Which led to a second angry tweet.
Perfect!!! sat on the phone for 2 hours trying to figure out why my internet is not working and the supervisor hangs up the phone. Classy— Erik Karlsson (@ErikKarlsson65) October 1, 2013
At least he seems to have gotten access to his twitter account.
