Enforcer Needed In Philly

Signed to a one-year, $875,000 contract last week—“not bad since I was negotiating from a stretcher”—Fedoruk believes the Flyers need to find someone who can help Ben Eager take on the NHL’s most powerful punchers.
“I don’t know who they’re going to pick,” said Fedoruk, who continues to work out at the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees. “Eags did a good job last year. He saw a lot of heavyweights and I think he’s very capable of fighting the heavyweights in this league.
“But I think at his age he does need a veteran heavyweight or maybe a young up-and-comer.”
