Edmonton- What To Expect

from Eric Duhatschek of the Globe and Mail,
Edmonton is different on one important level. Minus Chris Pronger, Michael Peca and a handful of the other experienced hands actively involved in that breakthrough playoff, just about everybody outside of the Oilers' locker room is taking a wait-and-see attitude about their chances. On paper, the Oilers look good — young and with enough speed throughout the line-up needed to keep up in the new NHL. It's just that they've looked this way in the past too and either missed the playoffs by a nose - or squeezed into them, before getting batted aside by a more experienced club.
