Never understood why penalties don’t carry over to the next game regardless of opponent.

Cheers.
What else would you expect from the modern era’s response to the Flyers of the seventies?

This is what happens when you let 5 year old kids play with professionals. They throw tantrums when they lose. Also, what you don’t see in the Perry video, is him taking two hard whacks at the back of the Buffalo defenseman’s legs prior to the fight. And notice how the quack kids like to gang up on individual players. Pure class.

Keep in mind, as well, that Anaheim had six skaters on the ice since they had pulled their goaltender, so it was a 6-on-5. Just ridiculous thuggery.
The shame of it is that Anaheim had played a solid game, just ran into a hot goaltender in Miller who shut the door on them. Their shenanigans at the end of the game was just bush league stuff that sullied an otherwise exciting game.
