Ducks Being Noticed

The Ducks, who have not lost in regulation heading into Friday’s home game against the Minnesota Wild, are hoping that success can help them become more than a novelty in Southern California’s crowded sports market. “People are paying attention to our team now,” said Brian Burke, the general manager and executive vice president of the Ducks. “I went all of last year without being recognized once, and now it’s happening routinely. I’m amazed at the change in a year.”
