Doan Beats The Mantracker

from the CP,

Shane Doan can add something else to his resume. The Phoenix Coyotes captain beat the “Mantracker.”

Doan, 34, and his 23-year-old brother Brook survived a manhunt on “Mantracker” television show.

On the episode that aired Sunday night, the start of Season 6 of the OLN show, the Doans had to elude “Mantracker” Terry Grant and local hunting guide Russ Floyd in B.C.‘s southern Chilcotin Mountains.

Big whoop.  I made the mistake of watching that stupid show once and two city girls from NYC managed to trick him and beat him, and generally made him look like an absolute fool.  They were out of shape, and had no outdoor knowledge at all, and still they made him look dumb.  A terrible show on an otherwise-usually-good Science Channel (which is what it airs on here in the U.S.).

Maybe Shane should try to beat an opponent in a playoff series instead of a retarded cowboy wannabe’ on a horse trying to run down lost people…

Ha, maybe he can do more TV during the long summer he’ll have. Or maybe shoot a movie? How about GOONies 2?

In related news:

Shane Doan can add something else to his resume. The Phoenix Coyotes captain beat the “PenaltyTracker.”

Doan, 34, and his 23-year-old brother Brook survived Games 1 and 2 on the “NHL on Versus” television show.

On the episodes that aired Wednesday night and Saturday afternoon, the start of the 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Doans had to elude “PenaltyTrackers” Kelly Sutherland, Denis LaRue, Paul Devorsky, Steve Kozari and the NHL linesman in Detroit’s Joe Louis Arena.

Equipped with a failed franchise and a quiver full of cheap shots, the brothers had to get to the finish point some 60 minutes away without being penalized.
