Do You Really Hate The Canucks?

via the CP at the Toronto Star,

The war of words in the Vancouver Canucks-Los Angeles Kings series has started.

On Twitter.

In the moments after Los Angeles finished off a 4-2 victory in Game 1 on Wednesday night, a message was posted to the team’s official Twitter account taking a shot at Vancouver: “To everyone in Canada outside of BC, you’re welcome.”

The Canucks have drawn criticism during a successful couple seasons that has seen them capture the Presidents’ Trophy in back-to-back years and fall one game short of the Stanley Cup in 2011.

In October, CBC commentator Don Cherry added to the chorus by saying Vancouver was disliked because the players whine at officials.

Vancouver sucks, their players are dirty, complain, and whine. They have burrows who pulls hair, bites players, and knees players in the nuts. Disgusting organization and the fans rioted and looted the city when the canucks lost the cup

I didn’t mind the Canucks at all, up to last year.  But their actions during the Finals, and the idiotic way the organization hid behind their mayor when he blamed the NHL for the riots, was enough for me.

Classless organization. Hope they lose. Go Kings.

Not only do I hate the Canucks, but I fail to understand how anyone can like them. Every player on the team is hateable minus one or two (Schnieder). I respond to that tweet by saying thank you.

I think we now know why Kessler failed to score a goal in his last 13 games: he was too busy flopping, trying to get penalties rather than playing the puck. Luongo flopped in the crease; Burrows whines about every thing; Laperierre: why is this guy even on the ice? Seriously? They are good players and a good team but this type of behavior and antics really makes it very difficult to like them.

LOL I tried to watch the game last nite, but when the Officals started call BS calls I couldn’t watch the Kings get screwed. I just figured the League was gonna help the Canucks as much as possible. Bettman is wondering why no one is going to games or watching. Maybe he needs to look around and ask questions. Money is not everything to true HOCKEY FANS, we enjoy the game and trying to change it to make it more interesting and make more money is not working. Bettman needs to leave the game alone and “they will come”. Growing up in Canada, it was National Pride to have a Hockey Team, not money maker. Everyone including Bettman needs to realize TRUE FANS don’t need shoot outs to have a good hockey experience. Good officiating and fairness (whether American, Canadian or other) is what FANS want. I hope the Kings lead by Darryl trounce the Canucks and their so called fans understand the meaning of “a good game”.

Awesome.  Simply hilarious.  I don’t mind the canucks, despite the fact their clowns and their fans are douche-canoe-wagons.

How was that first goal allowed with that goaltender interference? Kesler should have been assessed like 5 diving penalties for how much he flopped.  I’m ashamed he’s from MI.  Loungo is not that good and its obvious b/c the nuck fans chant LOUUU everytime he makes a save, like its a miracle.  LOL.
