Do Something Calgary

from Eric Francis of the Calgary Sun,

The pressure is on Jay Feaster to make something happen this weekend: To start affecting some semblance of change around here.

If he and his staff return from Pittsburgh with nothing more than the six players his team is currently slated to select in the NHL Entry Draft, the weekend can hardly be considered a smashing success, no matter how glowingly everyone speaks of the team’s pimply projects.

Something much more significant has to happen between now and Sunday.

A trade or two to acquire more picks, run a pricey veteran out of town, acquire more youth and shake up the franchise, energize the fans … something.

Anything but the status quo.
