I am not surprised with one year left made sense to trade while he has value. I have watched Kulikov play since he joined the Panthers and actually last year was his best year. In the past he was a giveaway machine, whether this past year was an aberration or what they say it takes longer to learn defense whatever the case I am okay with this trade as he always scared me when he had the puck.
As for going for Stamkos, I don’t thinks so they are good at center. They may want to clear cash to resign Campbell or make a trade.

They’re not re-signing Campbell. That was why they got Yandle.
