Devils sign Travis Zajac to extension

From the New Jersey Devils:

Devils Re-Sign Center Travis Zajac to Long-Term Contract

Newark, NJ - The New Jersey Devils today re-signed center Travis Zajac to a long-term contract. The announcement was made by Devils President/CEO/General Manager Lou Lamoriello. As per club policy, no further terms were disclosed.

"During his time in New Jersey, Travis Zajac has become a solid, all-situation player and one of the core leaders of our hockey club," said Lamoriello.

Can’t blame Lou. He’s been burned by the UFA too many times to let someone like Travis bolt for Winnipeg.
