Delay Of Game Needs To Be Adjusted

via the Mercury News,
Here's another reason why the NHL might scrap the new delay-of-game penalty on skaters who park the puck into the seats: While killing a penalty against Dallas last week, Minnesota's Brian Rolston was inside his own blue line when he fired the puck down the ice. The puck sailed on him, going over goalie Marty Turco's head and into the screen behind the net. Because the puck cleared the glass, Rolston received a penalty.
