For every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction, especially in sports. Action: Flyers show signs of life on West Coast. Reaction: Trade Peter Forsberg. Now. Two things don't go together in professional sports: Rebuilding teams and aging superstars trying to squeeze one last championship out of the twilight of their careers. Forsberg is 33 and dealing with a variety of health issues. He doesn't have a contract for next season. He's uncomfortable in his role as captain, especially for a struggling young team that might not make the playoffs.
