Datsyuk Gets Advice From Goodenow

Vladimir Krikunov: Andrei Taratukhin will replace Datsyuk at Ceska Poistovna The night before Vladimir Krikunov assured that Datsyuk is in the lineup. To explain the situation Soviet Sport correspondent asked the head coach a couple of questions. V. Krikunov: I found out about it last night. Pavel with his agent came to me in Novogorsk after midnight. Looks like Datsyuk’s agent convinced him not to play at the Ceska Poistovna. V. Krikunov: Pavel wanted to play. He even consulted with Bob Goodenow. People didn’t recommend him to play without insurance from a club. And so far he hasn’t signed a contract with any club.
