Word on the street has Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban interested in buying the St. Louis Blues. He wouldn't comment, but he's the only one. Others whose names are circulating as potential bidders are quick to shoot down the rumors. Cuban, an Internet pioneer and owner of the Dallas Mavericks basketball team, has been mentioned as a potential bidder. When asked whether he had any interest in buying the Blues or any other NHL team, he responded by e-mail that this is "not something I can comment on."more... with a bunch of other names tossed around as possible owners.
Then we have this wishful thinking article saying Cuban would be great as the Pittsburgh Pirates owner.
