Coyotes Sign Pair

GLENDALE, ARIZONA —Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have re-signed defenseman David Schlemko and left wing Ryan Hollweg to contracts. As per club policy, terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Schlemko, 22, recorded 1-4-5 and eight penalty minutes (PIM) in 17 games with the Coyotes last season to set career-highs in goals, assists, points, games played and PIM. He also appeared in 55 American Hockey League (AHL) games for San Antonio, collecting 5-26-31 and 30 PIM.
Hollweg, 27, recorded 4-6-10 and 93 PIM while appearing in 53 AHL games with San Antonio last season after signing with the Coyotes as a free agent on Sept. 29, 2009.
