Coverage of the NHL’s Media Loses a Veteran

Today, as the Globe & Mail‘s William Houston writes a thorough overview of the financial hardships being faced by all-sports radio stations across Canada, he finished his piece with these final words:

THE FINISH LINE

After more than 5,000 bylines in The Globe and Mail over 29 years, this is my last. I’m moving on to new pursuits. I leave with fond memories and good friendships. Thanks for reading.

Best wishes to Mr. Houston, with our thanks for his thoroughly informative coverage, particularly of the NHL media. His absence will surely leave a hole in the media landscape.

*thanks to Steve for pointing us to the story
