I’ve known Lyle Richardson since my early days of blogging and finally convinced him to come on over and do a weekly blog at Kukla’s Korner.
Now all you the folks who email me about rumors can now email Lyle, but he will probably tell you the same thing regarding most of those rumors.

Hi, folks, I’m Lyle Richardson. You might know me from my website, Spector’s Hockey, my thrice-weekly rumor column at THN.com, my weekly column at Eishockey News (if you read German), and my former gig as a contributing writer to Foxsports.com.
The Troy McClure-like intro aside, I’m pleased to announce I’ll be joining the ever-growing Kukla’s Korner family.
I’ve been a faithful reader of the Korner since discovering it during the nuclear winter that was the NHL lockout, and am honored to be given the opportunity to contribute to one of the best hockey websites around.
Beginning in September, I’ll be writing a once-weekly blog with my take on all things NHL. Who knows, I might actually find time to debunk a trade rumor or two.

Lyle’s site spectorshockey.net is the only site I’ve ever trusted for hockey “rumors.” Like Paul, Lyle gets the difference between what makes sense and what’s done simply to generate hits.
This is a great addition to KK. Kudos to Paul…and a hearty “welcome aboard” to Lyle.
