Cherry's main topic was Chicago's second goal tonight, he claims it should have been icing.

Regardless of whether or not it was icing… which Cherry seems to be arguing it shouldnt have been called off, so lets start with that. Chicago is getting to the puck first. Quick needs to see that. If it is icing its still Quicks fault. Cherry cant have it both ways there. He says it is icing, and its called off. Calling it off had no effect on the goal. In fact if the linesman called off the icing loud enough it would have giving Quick the opportunity to play the puck. Auto icing is NOT being implemented, Chicago seems to win the race to to dots anyway, so it looks like no icing from a new rule’s aspect that hasnt been implemented yet. No idea what Cherry is complaining about here. Basically, the only situation that would have prevented that goal is calling off icing from the very beginning. But, thats not what he is arguing…so…wtf?

Whose safety is he talking about there? Is he arguing LA didnt want to go first into the puck for fear of injury? I mean the puck wasnt along the boards, so not sure where they are going to get injured…I just…whatever…
