Update from the morning skate: Dan Cleary will miss tonight’s game against Pittsburgh due to a left eye infection, for which he was scheduled to see a doctor this afternoon, coach Mike Babcock said. Cleary has been experiencing some irritation in the eye most of the season, affecting his vision at one point and prompting him to wear a visor.
As expected, Johan Franzen will return to the lineup, after missing five games with a sprained left MCL.
