Chris Chelios has played the elbow and stick throughout his career, but now with the Players Association NHL it seems to frighten his opponents.
The problem is that “opponents” are found in the same camp as him and do a good portion of NHLPA members who question his intentions now.
Several staff members and supporters, under cover of anonymity, say the former Canadiens defenseman took full control of the Association and he currently serves as a dictator.
The words are harsh against him, but nobody dares talk openly to the media now for fear of reprisals.
