from Chris Kuc of the Chicago Tribune,
The Blackhawks have agreed to terms with defenseman Nick Leddy on a three-year, $2,7 million contract, according to his agent.
Leddy, who was acquired in a trade with the Minnesota Wild in the Cam Barker deal in February, will leave the University of Minnesota after playing just his freshman season and will attempt to make the Hawks’ roster during training camp which begins Sept. 18.
