Well, team owner ain’t going anywhere. The current coach wasn’t there when events allegedly happened. Can’t fire players who may have been aware of anything….so gee who might be losing their job?? Mr. Bowman I presume.??

I’m curious about what, if anything, happens to the guy who was coaching Chicago at that time???

Hard to believe they’re gonna broom Bowman and likely others who may have had knowledge, but Quenneville is unaffected. Just saying…

I think it’s a convenient excuse to dismiss bowman.  All the chatter in cawkland is get rid of bowman and especially now with the start they’ve had after the off-season they had.  Or else they’d be addressing everyone involved.

I’d be surprised if Davidson’s name doesn’t come up. His departure seemed abrupt and curious at the time.

I may have the wrong name. I’m referring to the previous team president.

Yesterday I was reading this piece from Nick Boynton and he told about how he came to his team about the struggles he was going through, they then traded him at the end of the year.  https://www.theplayerstribune.com/articles/nick-boynton-everythings-not-ok

That team was the Blackhawks.

Sleezy crap coming out of Chicago right now.  Unfortunately it won’t get much attention because the majority of their fans aren’t paying any attention to the team.

Sponsors fleeing, sellout streak is over, damning evidence being presented, and no veil of wins or Stanley Cups to hide it behind. Things are not looking good for the Hawks.

Glad to see the league’s new broadcast partner and “worldwide leader in sports” has Nothing at all on their website about this story as of 2pm… hmmm

Reading the Mark Lazerus tweets, Rocky and Danny Wirtz are safe.

For those of you less familiar with Chicago, the Wirtz family is one of the powerhouse families of the city.  And as a reminder, the term “Chicago Politics” absolutely still exists and applies just as much to business owners as it does corrupt politicians.

That all said, I’m not surprised the report said that.  Maybe they didn’t know, but I also wouldn’t be surprised that they did and are off the hook.

Unless they made the playoffs this was likely to be Stan’s last year anyways, so this is all just a very convenient (but extremely sad) situation for the Hawks.

I cannot figure out why they would put all of their heads on the block to protect one lowlife predator?!
Report it, and let the legal system handle it!!
