Chace Going For The Gold

Taylor Chace had a different kind of dream before Oct. 6, 2002. Since the age of 4 his dream was to play hockey professionally. That dream ended when got checked into the boards during a Junior Monarchs game in Ontario, Canada, and suffered a spinal cord injury. It didn’t stop Chace from dreaming again. Tom Carr, of Northeast Passage at the University of New Hampshire, got Chace into sled hockey, a very fast growing sport, in 2004. "He got me going and gave me the confidence to go out and try it," says Chace.
