Numerous sources reporting the NHL and NHLPA will get together on Tuesday.
Time and location will be decided on sometime Monday.
Let's keep our fingers crossed that some common ground can be discovered.
I've had read enough tweets about soccer, high school football, the CFL, NFL, MLB, KHL political debates and other topics besides NHL hockey!
added 5:14pm, Bill Daly tells the AP via ESPN there is the potential for a meeting on Tuesday, but not firm.

If insanity is defined as doing the same thing over and over yet expecting a different result (not the best paraphrase), then it’s safe to commit the four main players involved (the Bettman, Daly, and the brothers Fehr).
If they want progress, there needs to be a change of scenery in the way of the subjects meeting. Put Shanahan & Schneider in the room to work things out on behalf of their respective employers and see what happens. If anything, maybe the smaller stuff can get hashed out, then include those guys when the Four Horsemen of the Hockey Apocalypse get back together for the major issues.
If there is a brightside to this lockout, I am almost done making my holiday gifts; just need to finish a fish head hat and some knitted “lumps of coal”, then relax until December comes. I’m caught up on chores and actually debating what house projects to start. While I’m missing the online camaraderie around the games, I’m definitely taking advantage of the free time.
