From the Canucks:
Vancouver Canucks President & General Manager Mike Gillis announced today that the Canucks have signed centre Maxim Lapierre and defenceman Andrew Alberts each to two-year contracts.
As noted a couple days ago, the Lapierre contract is believed to be for $2 million. No word (that I’ve seen) on the money side of the Alberts deal.
Update 5:57pm ET: From Matthew Sekeres of the Globe & Mail—
Alberts gets a 2-year deal, annual cap hit of $1.225M.
