Can’t put a Price on a few days off

Well, it’s August 27th and, despite some serious questions in the free agency market, I’m going on vacation. Why? Because it’s soon going to be cold, and I’ll be complaining that I miss summer. And I can’t complain about it if I spend the last few days of summer sitting around waiting for Carey Price to sign a contract.

So, I’ll be off for a few days, but I will periodically check in, and if there’s movement, I’ll be commenting. But maybe not as quickly. When not commenting I’ll be by the lake reading my new Forecaster magazine.

This also likely means that as soon as I hit the road the Canadiens will announce Price has been signed. That’s generally how things work for me.

We shall see.

Three predictions before I head out:

1) Price signs a short-term deal, likely two years, maybe one.

2) Kovalchuk bolts for the KHL - hey, could you say no to $15 million tax free?

3) Owen Nolan signs with the Sharks.

Get outside and enjoy the weather folks…just make sure you keep checking KK here to stay up to date.
