Can Jagr Handle Being In ‘Two’ Places At Once?

from Sean Carney of Emerging Europe at the Wall Street Journal,

But what is more telling about his future is his taking ownership of the Czech professional hockey team in his hometown Kladno just a few months ago. He’s given the team a financial boost estimated at around $2 million, found a generous sponsor and this week presented the team’s new look and name, The Knights.

Mr. Jagr said hometown fans will see him on the ice shortly and wasn’t humble about his aspirations.

“I think I’ll play with Kladno in a year or two and I hope to help lead the team to the title after a long time,” he said.
