Cammalleri With The Slashing Major & Game Misconduct

Montreal Canadiens winger Michael Cammalleri was ejected from a pre-season game Saturday night for a nasty slash to the ankle of New York Islanders rookie Nino Niederreiter.

Cammalleri, one of Montreal’s top scoring forwards, was handed a slashing major and a game misconduct at 16:52 of the second period at the Pepsi Colisee and may face further discipline.
