from Katie Strang of ESPN,
We've talked a bunch this season about using some of the top teams in the Western Conference as a measuring stick, and if that is the case the Calgary Flames made a bold statement with a comeback win over the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday.
After falling behind by two goals, the plucky Flames rallied back with three goals in the third period and ultimately prevailed 4-3 in the shootout. That makes four times this season Calgary has gone on to win a game in which it trailed trailed after two periods.
I think we can say now that the Flames are for real. They're riding a three-game winning streak and are just one point behing the Pacific Divison-leading Ducks.
