Bruins coach Dave Lewis, like a number of his players, has elected to live in the North End, which makes for an easy commute to Causeway Street. Not even a week into his Little Italy residency, he was recognized by a local early one morning. ``The guy called me over and asked that I join him for a coffee," said Lewis, who at first politely declined, only to accept after repeated requests. ``I sat down, and this is 7:30 in the morning, and it was good coffee -- and he added a little something to it, if you know what I mean. At 7:30 in the morning! It sure is a friendly town."
