2 seconds for Lars Eller and Shaw, but only 1 second for a number 1 goalie?  Sometimes I dont get this league.

Besides losing Q, Richards and Dats, I’m starting to get the feeling that our roster is going to be exactly the same as last year.

Another Friedman tweet,

If Elliott re-signs in CAL, STL adds a 3rd in 2018. So it’s one pick for sure, with the possibility of two

I’ve been told by a brilliant GM and a few of his apologists the trades are hard, the evidence really isn’t there though

Trades are hard…..........................when you refuse to give up anything you like!

The summer of Kenny is off to a brilliant start.

The only way Howard will improve his numbers is if the defense gets better.

Ha….hahaha….

We just need to get comfortable watching other GMs improve their teams while we stand pat. Get. Comfy. now.

Frustrating.

On the one hand, Elliott only has a $2.5 million cap hit, so you can understand why they would want him. It makes it hard to move Howard at $5.3.

On the other hand, had Holland not signed him to that expensive of a contract, or had he moved him last summer when it became evident Mrazek was the goalie of the future and there were more teams interested in a goalie, this wouldn’t be a problem.

Holland puts himself in tough situations, then explains his failures away by the fact that he was in a tough situation. This is what happens when you sit on players to long, whether they are veterans or prospects.

Of course you’d take Elliott over Howard. He’s better and half the price.

Get real guys.

Besides, we’d be without a backup.
