via the Philadelphia Flyers,
The Philadelphia Flyers announced they have re-signed goaltender Brian Elliott to a one-year contract extension worth an average annual value (AAV) of $2.0 million, according to Executive Vice President & General Manager Chuck Fletcher.
"Brian has played well for us the last two seasons," said Fletcher. "He is a proven, quality goaltender who competes and battles hard every time he has the net. We are excited to have him rejoin our team."

Yes I thought of Hart, good numbers but it still the Flyers. If he can play 55 games +/- without getting injured?? Elliot is not that great IMO but I guess having a young stud at backup is not good. Be like Detroit and have a 35 yr old starter and a 30 yr old backup. (LOL)
Will see, the door is wide open for Hart but a good experienced backup would keep Hart on his toes

Yeah, maybe they should try to get a good, experienced backup.
Someone like, I don’t know, Brian Elliott?
