from Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette,
They’re facing elimination in a non-Game 7 environment for the first time since the 2016 Eastern Conference final against Tampa. That, too, featured a pair of blown leads in Game 5 that necessitated back-to-back wins.
If the Penguins hope to top the Capitals for the 10th time in 11 postseason tries, they know they’ll need to bring much of what they did Saturday, clean up their mistakes and probably dial up the intensity a few more notches.
“We've done it before,” Dumoulin said. “We know we’ve got it in this group. We're going back home. We’ve been good at home all year. We win one game there, come back here and play a Game 7. That’s nothing new to us, nothing we’re afraid of. We’ve just got to bring our best effort again in Game 6.”
