Blues Re-Sign Stewart

ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced Thursday the club has signed Chris Stewart to a one-year contract.
Stewart, 24, appeared in 79 regular season games for the Blues last season posting 30 points (15 goals, 15 assists) and a career high 109 penalty minutes while also tallying two goals and 12 penalty minutes in seven playoff games.
Since joining the club in February of 2011, the 6’2, 232-pound forward has dressed in 105 games for the Blues totaling 53 points (30 goals, 23 assists) and 124 penalty minutes.

Not a bad deal for Stewart. He’ll probably have to perform a bit more consistently.
What I like about this is how many idiot Blues fans this will piss off.

The guys put up 28 goals and 64 pts. w/ the Avs in his first full season before moving the St. Louis. Really had Stewart pegged as a potential pt/game powerhouse, but alas he must have been profiled to fill a role in with the Blues.
Never saw that coming. Maybe he’s still coming. I dunno.
