Blues Hike Ticket Prices

In the aftermath of the Blues spending $30 million on players’ salaries during the free agency period and introducing detailed plans to enhance Savvis Center, the club announced Thursday that it will be raising ticket prices 10 percent for the 2006-07 season. “I think it’s all part of the commitment to quality and the commitment to improving everything that we’re doing here,” said Peter McLoughlin, the CEO of Blues Enterprises. “I can’t emphasize enough the excitement that we feel here as an organization . . . the energy that’s being created by ownership."
