Kukla's Korner Hockey

Blaming Bettman

from Tony Gallagher of the Vancouver Province,
As the NHL final continues with the U.S. population still largely unaware of its existence, league owners are getting another lesson in commissioner Gary Bettman's great marketing approach. You do something disastrous, then just stand before the media and tell them what they see isn't really happening. That's what occurred Monday when he was telling everyone the decision to leave ESPN and put the league's games on OLN was fine and the league is in for the long haul with the network and that everyone should be patient. The facts would indicate otherwise.
