Blackhawks Sign Pair

from CBC,

The Chicago Blackhawks reached agreement with young forward Michael Frolik on a three-year deal and signed unrestricted free agent Sami Lepisto to a one-year pact….

Frolik’s numbers in 2010-11 took a dip from his first two seasons, as he finished with 11 goals and 27 assists in 80 games.

Frolik scored 42 goals in his first two seasons with the Panthers, including 16 power-play markers.

The Kladno, Czech Republic native was selected 10th overall in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft by Florida.

The club did not release financial details, although multiple reports suggest it will average to just over $2 million US per year.
