Blackhawks Fan Will Attend His 2,154th Consecutive Game Tonight

Bob Gertenrich's first season ticket purchase in 1966 cost him $92.50, next season he will pay over $3100 per seat.

Now that’s a fan but I wish when bettman called him he would of hung up on him or told him to quit for the sake of the game.

This guy doesn’t have his seat near the glass but upper level it appears.
Once bought a ticket late one day on a whim from some season ticket owner at The Joe right behind the net next to the tunnel and at the game some jerk that rarely shows up to watch a game questioned me about me sitting there like a typical rich arsehole. Zamboni man Al Sobotka mocked him when he saw him saying, “wow you showed up for a game.”
Moral of the story: If you buy the season tickets make sure you go to the games or sell them vigilantly every game rather than letting them go empty because you don’t give a crap.
